Patrick O’Fee, Regional Director of Agronomy
As Director of Agronomy, Patrick oversees golf course maintenance programs at Greenway-managed properties in the US as well as leading new development opportunities in Ireland and Europe.
Prior to joining Greenway, Patrick served as the Superintendent at the Pasadera Country Club in Monterey, California, a premier Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. Patrick’s prior experiences include Eagle Ridge GC in Gilroy, CA and several other top courses in Portland, OR region.
Patrick is a native of Northern Ireland and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports studies from the University of Ulster and a bachelor of science in horticulture, turf & landscaping from Oregon State University.
Dan Holmes, Regional Superintendent / Irrigation Specialist
Dan Holmes serves as a regional support superintendent and water management specialist to assist in the implementation of the Greenway agronomy program and irrigation management. Dan’s expertise is maximizing water management by calculating proper irrigation schedules and modifying systems to run more effectively and efficiently.
Dan’s experiences include serving as Superintendent at several award winning Greenway Golf managed facilities including Malibu Country Club and Stevinson Ranch in California.
Jason Cook, Regional Superintendent
Jason has a degree in agronomics from the University of Massachusetts and more than 17 years of experience at high-end resort, private and all levels of public golf facilities. Jason’s well-rounded background and irrigation experience fulfills a key niche for Greenway Golf’s clientele with a concentration in one of the most volatile and influential components in golf course management. Jason’s project work includes facilities in the Northeast, Midwest, Southeast, Rocky Mountain, and Southwest including: Samoset Resort (ME), Silver Spring CC (WI), Glenmoor CC (CO) and The Golf Club at Ravenna (CO), Waldorf Astoria GC (FL) and Arrowhead CC (CA).
Tom Mead, Regional Director of Agronomy
Tom has been in the golf business for thirty-six years and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in Anthropology and completed the Turfgrass Management Program at Michigan State University. He is an accredited Sustainability Advisor for the Golf Environment Organization and a judge on Golf Digest’s Green Star Award panel.
For the first fifteen years of his career he worked as the Golf Course Superintendent culminating in five years at the Mackenzie/Maxwell masterpiece located in Frankfort, MI, Crystal Downs CC. Tom thereafter transitioned to the development side of the business, collaborating on Tom Doak’s first design effort, High Pointe GC near Traverse City, MI, where he served as Project Manager and Grow-in Superintendent.
In addition, Tom provided management for new course projects designed by Tom Fazio (Dallas National GC, Dallas, TX and Treetops Resort, Gaylord, MI), Tom Weiscopf / Jay Morrish (Quail Hollow Resort, Cleveland, OH) and Art Hills (Boyne Highlands Resort, Harbor Springs, MI). His agronomic consulting and/or renovation works include Sand Hills GC, Mullen, NE and Whistling Straits GC, Kohler, WI, Camargo Club, Cincinnati, OH and Inwood CC, Inwood, NY.
Ed Winiecki (PGA | CMAA Member), Western Regional Operations Manager
Ed has over 20 years experience in successfully managing service and financial expectations at public and private club including The Retreat G&CC in Corona, The Bridges Club in Rancho Santa Fe and Coto de Caza GC. Prior to joining Greenway, Ed most recently served as the Executive Director for the PGA Tour Nationwide Soboba Classic in Southern California.
As a PGA Class A Member, Ed has served as President of the Southern California PGA Island Empire chapter, appeared as a guest on the Golf Channel and been recognized with numerous awards for his achievements in club management including being selected as the 2010 Southern California PGA Professional of the Year. Ed oversees all Greenway facility management partnerships in the Western U.S while also serving as General Manager for Greenway managed Salinas G&CC in Monterey County.
Lisa Stamper, Corporate Controller / Dir. of Human Resources
Lisa is responsible for accounting, financial statements and HR for Greenway Golf and all Greenway managed properties. Lisa’s experiences include tax accounting, payroll, HR management and most recently serving as senior accountant for a large international flooring company in Austin, TX. Having previously owned and operated her own accounting company, Lisa has an excellent understanding of accounting and a desire to serve others. Lisa is a graduate from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance & Accounting.
Rick Fowler, Managing Consultant Corporate Human Resource Services
CHR is a professional human resource organization that Greenway has partnered with to provide expert human resource services to address the various HR issues within our industry. In addition to being president of CHR, Rick Fowler’s experiences including directing a large Professional Employer Organization and HR Director for a law firm, technology company and software development company. CHR now supports clients with a combined workforce of 400 employees.

Greenway Superintendents are considered some of the industry’s best and benefit from a standard agronomic program and support system that allows Greenway to deliver the very best playing surfaces within the golf industry… and at a cost the club can afford. All Greenway Associates complete an orientation and training program under the direction of Greenway Golf that helps them understand the standards and service philosophies of Greenway. As part of the orientation the principals of Greenway share the company’s turf philosophy and ensure a full understanding and commitment to serving others through outstanding course maintenance.
